Welcome to the transgender hub forum we take enormous pride in our website and discussion boards, we ask you kindly to please respect this fact and adhere to the community rules and guidelines given in this post. We want everyone to be able to enjoy and benefit from the discussion and information given by members.

The Forum Rules:

ALL NEW USER TOPICS ARE FIRST READ BY ADMINS OR MODERATORS BEFORE GOING LIVE, WE HAVE A TIGHT ANTI-SPAM POLICY ON USERS POSTING FOR THE FIRST FEW TIMES. AS A MEMBERS TRUST LEVEL GROWS, THROUGH REGULAR POSTING, OUR SITE ALGORITHM OFFERS LESS MODERATION ON THEIR BEHALF.

USER TRUST LEVELS:

When a new user joins they are given a basic access level which allows most of the site features and gives an access level with the ability to create your profile, reply to posts and create new topics. As you begin posting more replies and creating relevant topics you will be given trust awards by our site algorithm, these are shown in the user profile -> activity tab.

Inactive users with no posts, replies, created topics or subscriptions:

Please be aware that because of the increase of auto registered accounts, by bots and spammers, we do operate an automatic policy of deleting user accounts that show inactivity after 60 days of registration. However, we will not delete your member account if in that 60 day period from initial registration you have posted a reply to a member, created a topic, commented on a post or subscribed to a topic.

With this spam account policy in place we manage to remove anyone that has created an account just to leave a profile, or any individuals who have no intention of contributing to the forum.

Personal attacks on any member:

We try to maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere in our forums, we will not tolerate any personal insults or attacks on any member of the transgender hub forum. Please remember that the purpose of a forum is to allow discussion that can be respectful and passionate, think about the term debating, we do not want anybody crossing a line into personal affronts or insults. We are adamant in this matter that if any member violates this rule then they will be firstly warned by our administration team and then they will be banned for ANY repeat occurrence.

Multiple accounts for one individual are not permitted:

This rule should go without saying but in the case of users creating multiple individual accounts then that member WILL BE deleted and any repeat by that user will lead to a member ban.

Cross posting on multiple forums:

We request that you only post information in a single topic or category, we have designed the forum to include general categories for posts that do not fit a specific topic. If the admin or moderator team see that you are duplicating replies in multiple topics, then this not only serves to confuse other members but, it will lead to you receiving a warning and/or ban.

Remember that self-promotion is spam:

The forums are designed for members posting advice, information, support or questions that will either be a help to other users or in the case of questions there is the need for advice and input to help the poster.

If we see a member that is posting to the forum with questionable content that is self-promoting such as advertising for self-interest, affiliating a company for profit or promotion then the post/s will be either edited or completely removed without any further investigation. Repeat offenders of self-promotion will be banned from the board and/or permanently deleted.

External Links:

Our trust level for new members has been set in such a way that is replaces links automatically with the message 'removed link', this applies for the first 10 posts by new users. When a user has passed their initial 10 posts then they will be allowed to use the link symbol in the new post/reply editor screen and links will be displayed in the post body. Please be aware that all post links will have the attribute of 'nofollow' which is our standard policy to help in reducing any spam postings.

Member signatures:

If a member has forum signature access a typical signature should only include information about yourself and NOT any promotional information and/or strictly no links. If we find anybody abusing this rule their signature access privileges will be removed without notice or warning.

Lost password and recovery:

In the case of any user forgetting their login password, please use the recovery link located in the login tab on any forum pages and you will need to enter your username or email used for signup to reset your password. If for any reason you have trouble with your password then please read this password reset instruction thread and if you still have problems only then contact an administrator for help.

Administrators and Moderators have the final word:

We ask that if you have a personal complaint about the site or another user to please contact one of the administrators or moderators and that you DO NOT post it on the site. We will give only one warning for breaking this rule and any occurrence will lead to a swift ban or member deletion.

Please check back on these rules from time to time; this is a living document that administrators will be updating periodically.
